Run To Be at the Asics London 10k 2019

The exciting conclusion of our latest 10k Race Preparation course took place this weekend with our runners taking to the starting line alongside our coaches John and Sue and mentors Katie, Michelle and Simon.

The crew met up at Woodford Station bright and shiny at 7,15am and travelled into London together seasoned veteran alongside first time 10ker, nerves and excitement making for a heady mix!

Days like these make us so proud of our community as we watch people who once doubted their ability accomplish 10k and pick up their race bling.

Everyone, coaches, runners and mentors, work so hard to be the best runners they can be and to see them having so much fun while they do it just fills our hearts with joy!

Enough about us though, here are some wonderful words from our wonderful runners!

"Well here I am having completed my 2nd 10k. If you had said to me a year ago I would be here I would have laughed in your face! 53, menopausal and never run before! Big thanks to Run To Be - fabulous people - too many to mention but thank you all!
